After waiting several minutes to make sure that he was truly alone, the genius began to work at the bindings. Slowly yet surely the bonds slipped off of his lithe form, much like a cocoon be sloughed off by a caterpillar transformed into a beautiful butterfly.
“Hmmm not a bad job.” the genius mused to himself quietly. He could easily walk out of the closet at that point, yet the Sniper known as Sinon had captured him for a reason. For that reason alone, the Game Master merely stretched, and settled into his cramped space to await the female’s return.
What reason she had possibly had to capture him was an intriguing enigma which he would soon get to the bottom of. He smirked to himself at the thought of the reaction his freedom from the bonds would elicit.
The Sniper hadn’t really thought of a reason for her actions that did not involve curiousity. She seemed to wait for what seemed to be like hours, absently counting the tiles on the ceiling to amuse herself. It wasn’t helpful, but it distracted her enough. She would glance at the door every so often to see what he was up to, but would go back to her making the time go by.
Slowly but surely, the time skipped by. She was aching to move when she realized time had finally passed. Practically jumping to her feet, she moved over to the wooden door, gently resting her back against it to listen.
– ’Maybe he escaped in some weird way, and won’t be there when I open the door…’ She thought, an amused grin tracing her lips before letting it fade.
Composing herself, she opened the door, staying behind the safety of the door as if he could do something to her. It was a childish move, really. Peaking her head around the frame, her eyes widened to see the mastermind untangled, staring back at her.
