My first actual crush where I felt love? Hmm. It’s a long story about what went on in that relationship. I was young and eager to feel love. It was a fling. I was too young to comprehend the emotion. However, he actually loved me. It benefitted him more than me, and it’s the only relationship I myself ended.

I would risk the one year deal. Either way, this question is cruel. ‘Second best’ wouldn’t really be love. Sure, things can blossom, but a sense of disappointment will linger. With the one year deal, you keep the memories of someone who truly changed you.
